Have you thought about the vaccines you need for the coming Fall. If not, today would be the best time to start thinking about them. UNCG requires students to have certain vaccines, like many other colleges in North Carolina.

Preferably, two weeks before SOAR, future UNCG students are required to turn in an Immunization Record Form, clinic stamped or signed by a medical provider. This is a North Carolina Immunization Law.

You can obtain these immunization records from your personal shot records, your local health department, your military records, or previous colleges or university you have attended.

UNCG requires students have the following vaccines:

  • DTP/TD/ TDAP

  • Polio

  • Measles

  • Rubella

  • Mumps

  • Hepatitis B

Students may not be required to have all these vaccines if he/she has received and completed their doses.

If you have any question regarding the information provided, you may call the Student Health Services at 336-334-5340 or visit http://shs.uncg.edu/clinic/immunization.
