Hello all,

When ordering textbooks online, you may be bogged down by the immense amount of options. I’m here to list to you all (in no particular order) the top 5 online textbook retailers.

  1. CHEGG- Chegg offers textbooks that are new and used. You are able to rent books for an entire semester. They also offer a 30 day return policy. Also has an app for iPhones.

  2. ABEBOOKS- AbeBooks offers textbooks that are new and used. They offer “rare” textbooks as well. They offer up to 50% off the retail price of textbooks.

It offers free shipping. It also has an iPhone and Android app available for download.

  5. Amazon- Amazon offers textbooks that are new, used, or e-books. They offer “Amazon Student” as well, which offers many advantages for college students. They offer discounted books for up to 80%.

Books that are in the public domain are offered all over the place online. So, books like Frankenstein, Pride and Prejudice, Treasure Island, etc. are available online for free on many different websites.
