As of now, you should have completed your FASFA. The staff in The Financial Aid Office (Location: 723 Kenilworth St.) and their services are meant to help you, not jip you. However, you do have to do your part. Any financial verification forms or outside scholarships need to be sent to The Financial Aid Office. If you have the school’s health insurance, or will be living in more expensive on-campus housing, make sure you fill out a cost of attendance adjustment form and send it to The Financial Aid Office so that they can give you enough funds to cover the extra. The form is also located on their website. With any mail sent there, please include your full name and student ID. On their website (http://fia.uncg.edu), they provide more in-depth information and provide answers to frequently asked questions. Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also talk to a financial aid representative by calling (336)334-5702. The individuals in The Financial Aid Office can become some of your best friends if you let them.
